Mocha Fondue

There’s nothing more romantic than a warm chocolate fondue! Chocolate and coffee are a natural pairing in this decadent recipe. And the best part if that it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare this classic dessert. It is easy to make Mocha Fondue at home but definitely requires starting with quality ingredients. We recommend a quality dark chocolate that is at least 70% cocoa. It melts more smoothly and the slight bittersweet notes balance the sweetness of the fruit and cookies you are dipping. The vanilla you choose should also be made from real vanilla beans, no imitation extracts allowed here!

Any of our quality coffees taste delicious in this recipe but we particularly recommend our Single Origin Organic Sumatra. The beans in our Organic Sumatra coffee are roasted to a darker Bold Roast. This brings out the unique almond and chocolate flavors developed during the unique processing method called ‘wet-hulling.‘ The complexity of these beans can be enjoyed alone but is even more delicious paired with breakfast or dessert, especially with chocolate.

We hope you enjoy this Mocha Fondue as much as we do. Our favorite things to dip are crisp almond biscotti and ripe strawberries. But feel free too choose your favorite fruits, cookies, cakes or even marshmallows to dip into this decadent chocolate treat.
