Macchiato Martini
Discover our Macchiato Martini, featuring a strongly brewed coffee, vodka, and a creamy vanilla topping. Made with Charleston Coffee Roasters coffee, this recipe adds a new twist on the typical espresso martini. Ingredients
Coffee Syrup:
1/2 cup espresso or strongly brewed coffee
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Vanilla Cold Foam:
1/2 cup half and half cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Martini: (per drink)
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 shot of espresso or 1 oz strongly brewed coffee
Ice
2 tablespoons Vanilla Cold Foam
Coffee beans, for garnish
Instructions
- To make the coffee syrup, place the brewed coffee and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. Store the simple syrup in a clean jar. It will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
- To make the martini, place the vodka, shot of espresso or coffee, coffee syrup, and ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously, then strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Carefully layer the vanilla cold foam onto the vodka mixture then garnish with coffee beans and enjoy!
