This natural Guji Uraga medium roast coffee, lot #010-0568-0007, is grown and processed in Ethiopia, known to be the birthplace of coffee. Its coffee varietals include heirloom coffee cultivars that are grown by 19 female coffee farmers in the Uragwa district at very high altitudes of 6,500 feet. This farm has focused on sustainable agricultural methods including agroforestry, to balance the CO2 emissions the coffee plants generate. The coffee is naturally processed and dried on raised beds at the Yismashewa Drying Station in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. This station has been operational for 15 years and is led by Lego Tiba Malde and her family, which has been providing local employment to nearly 130 women in this region. So, try this natural Ethiopian Micro Lot coffee today and enjoy its unique flavor profile with notes of berries and chocolate with subtle hints of sweet orange.
