Teaming Up with Charleston RiverDogs Baseball

While watching the Charleston RiverDogs baseball team this summer, you might have seen a familiar turtle logo hanging out. This season, Charleston Coffee Roasters teamed up with the Joe Riley Stadium to bring nitro and cold brew coffee to the beverage offerings at the park. We also worked with them to put our distinct sea turtle logo on the RiverDogs on-deck warmup circle.

BASEBALL AND…COFFEE?

Being in the foodie town of Charleston, it’s only natural that the RiverDogs are on the lookout for unique food and beverages for their fans. You might be used to sipping an icy cold beer while watching the game, and they have plenty of offerings in that category. But in the brutally hot and humid Charleston summers, a cup of cold joe is a welcome non-alcoholic and refreshing option too.

At the “Cup of Joe” stand at the stadium, you can choose between cold brew or nitro brew. As the name suggests, the difference is that the nitro brew is our cold brew coffee infused with nitrogen. This creates a cup that is super smooth and creamy, and looks very similar to a pint of Guiness beer with that characteristic cascade effect.

Our signature cold brew blend is a Dark Roast that is rich, full-bodied and flavorful with sweet notes of chocolate. One sip and you will be hooked on the super smooth taste and finish of our cold brew! After you leave the park, if you find yourself wanting more you can always order some of our Cold Brew single serve pods to make your own cold brew at home.

The Charleston Coffee Roasters team have always been big baseball fans, and think the sport is great for both kids and adults alike. So it was a natural fit to want to support our local community baseball team.

The RiverDogs organization really embodies our local Charleston spirit, and they bring that sense of community to every game. We love how the organization makes going to the games a treat. It’s just good clean summertime fun for everyone, and we hope to see you at a game soon. We’ll be the ones with a frothy cup of cold brew in hand!
