Our medium roast Ibisi-Natural coffee, Lot #22079D, is grown and processed on Ibisi Mountain in southern Rwanda. This coveted red bourbon varietal is grown at an altitude of 5,500 feet at Bernard Uwitje’s farm. The coffee is dried on raised beds for 10-14 days, using a natural process, where the coffee is laid out to dry within the cherry. This gives the beans their fruit-forward flavor with a delightful sweetness. Bernard partnered with the Rwanda Trading Company to build his Ibisi Mountain washing station. Through RTC’s investments in agribusiness training programs during the past 10 years, producer partners have seen an 86% increase in farm revenue.
Discover this exceptional Micro Lot coffee from Rwanda and uncover for yourself a rare, naturally processed coffee with beautiful fruit-forward notes of raspberry, light brown sugar, and subtle hints of cocoa nibs.
