Coffee Profile
Organic Cold Brew is a blend of organic coffees from Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala, which is roasted dark to create a bold, subtly sweet, and smooth coffee with hints of cocoa. Our master roasters spent months tasting and refining this blend specifically for cold brew preparation. We recommend you steep the coffee overnight or for 12-16 hours and experiment with the coffee-to-water ratio to suit your taste.
We brewed this delightfully dark blend to a concentrate and added water for a 1:1 concentrate-to-water ratio resulting in a rich and decadent cold coffee.
First, grind whole bean coffee on a coarse setting or use pre-ground coarse coffee. Then combine the ground coffee with water (preferably filtered) and let it steep for 12-16 hours. You can use a Toddy® system, French press or other cold brew systems, or even a pitcher with cheesecloth. The coffee-to-water ratio you use can be based on whether you want to brew a strong concentrate (to be diluted whenever you want a cold brew) or be able to drink the coffee right away without adding water or ice. Experiment with different ratios and see which one you like. Happy brewing!
Recommended Coffee: Water Ratios
1:2 (Concentrate-dilute with water)
1:4 (Concentrate-dilute with water)
1:8 (straight-no dilution needed)
1:10 (straight-no dilution needed)

I mixed the 1:8 ratio and let steep for 24 hours in the refrigerator. The coffee has a very rich and smooth flavor. A refreshing cold brew.

Organic Cold Brew is a release that I have been excited to try for a while now. Cold brew is one of my favorite ways to enjoy my coffee but, unfortunately, this blend is not for me. There are some nice, subtle fruity and chocolatey notes but they are far overpowered by the roasty, smokey flavors, which have an almost alcoholic quality to me. If you’re a dark roast enjoyer – I think you may like this quite a bit. It is certainly bold and unique. For me – I think the Organic Mexican makes a far more pleasant dark roast cold brew.
