Coffee Profile
Our Costa Rican coffee comes from the exalted region of Tarrazu. This region is blessed with the finest soils and the highest altitudes in the country which produces exceptional coffees. The beans we have selected come from the single estate “Dota”, which has won numerous awards for the coffees they grow. The beans mature slowly and are exceptionally dense, producing high notes as well as full body. As you drink this coffee you will be delighted by the bright citrus flavors which seem to dance on your tongue.

This coffee beans are so rich in taste and it’s right for my Jura Eva espresso machine.My espresso shots or cappuccino is like a silk and in the same time velvety without any burnt taste.

The Costa Rican Tarrazu coffee is so smooth and rich in taste! It’s excellent to drink black and this may just be my new favorite coffee from Charleston Coffee Roasters.

These beans that could truly rival a lot of the specialty coffee that I have tried and paid much more for. I would say the description is bang on. It’s got a nice, fresh, orangey, citrus acidity on the top end with a nice body to back it up. By specialty coffee standards, these are more on the medium-roast end of the spectrum, but that aligns more closely with my preferences. Highly recommended to anyone who loves a citrus-chocolate forward coffee like I do!

wowie zowie. thought i’d found the perfect light roast with Ethiopian Yirgecheffe that i’d been using…and it is still amazing, but THiS variety is my new go to! i love light roasts that have a smooth super full body, and this is king. it’s a hard trick to pull off, light roast that maintains punch but keeps it smoooth. well done!
