Dark Roast Bulldog Blend is a bold, rich roast comprised of beans from South America. Along with Charleston Coffee Roasters’ Medium Roast Battalion Blend, this slow-roasted coffee is being released in collaboration with The Citadel Athletics as its official coffee.
For this small-batch craft coffee, Charleston Coffee Roasters combined both dark roasted and French roasted beans to create this uniquely complex blend. The result is a full-bodied coffee with big flavor, and notes of caramel and chocolate. Bulldog Blend Dark Roast is delicious brewed as an espresso or as a drip coffee.
With no bitterness and a smooth, rich finish, there is no need for sugar or cream! This bold roast pairs wonderfully with sweet breakfast items like doughnuts or chocolate croissants, and also makes a satisfying accompaniment to after-dinner desserts.
